S! Hey you Jug-jockies out there! Shutter, this is for you.

I have an old paper copy of the P47 pilot's manual. (its a little old and has some water damage to it, but...hopefully you can make use of the downloaded images)
If not, let me know, i can scan to pdf and post on our downloads site.

Please see the attached - I've photo copied the key operating parameter, weight and balance, and fuel consumption tables!

So you can plan your combat accordingly, and fly the jug to its limits.

Looking around for magvar data, I have found this: https://maps.ngdc.noaa.gov/viewers/hist ... clination/. It seems that it is indeed 9W in the Dover area. The 12W i had was either an average for the UK or for a westerly location. I need to test the map again with more accuracy.

Today (or yesterday) you got a glimpse into dead reckoning navigation and what made it so hard. So many things to account for. Imagine crossing the Atlantic this way.
