Argg! Drats, well you've come this far, i wonder if reverting the bios to the earlier version would help.
I'd try that, IF< and only IF i found come collaborating info from others or the MOBO manuf, that it was required.
hum?
Sorry to hear that, nothing goes smoothly does it?

I"m wondering if its your power supply not being beefy enough to handle the new cpu and cooler.Just a thought since nothing else will turn on..

Good thought, but I have 850 watts available. I could almost run a low-power hair dryer off that.RAF_Jakeman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:39 pmI"m wondering if its your power supply not being beefy enough to handle the new cpu and cooler.Just a thought since nothing else will turn on..
Kicking the CPU back as a return, going to wait and maybe do a motherboard + cpu upgrade at a later time, after saving more pennies.
Sadly, this means no Division 2 for Grit in the immediate future.

Can get a decent computer for cheap. Not sure what a motherboard would cost but Newegg has computers interest free for 12 months. https://www.newegg.com/abs-computer-tec ... eviews=all
