Is this worth getting?

Postby RAF_Hollywood » Sat Jun 29, 2019 4:09 pm

S!

Steam has it on sale for $16.99. It is the first in the new series I think. Haven't flown in ages. Learning curve may be steep again. Educate me on the process if you can as far as buying order, what to avoid, which plane is worth buying and of course how deep into my pocket will I have to go!

Thanx in advance

Hollywood!!!

I think Beerbuzz might be your man—I know he's been flying it. He's out this week for Fourth of July, but hopefully he'll see this once he's back.

I was flying a bit on IL-2 Cliffs of Dover Blitz, on Steam, and there's some learning curve adapting to it from the ol' IL-2 Pacific Fighters, but not too bad. Can't say I have experience with Battle of Stalingrad, but hopefully it's not that different.

Sit tight, hopefully BB will have something to say that's more useful than my empty mutterings.

And...welcome back! :ILikeIt:

Yes! That's a good price. Good graphics and runs very smoothly. It supports VR and setting up controls is easy. It much easier to fly, find and shoot enemies than DCS. I highly recommend it.
