Happy New Year - The Mossy is here!

S!
and Happy New Year folks!

Our channel mission has been updated to include some Mossies! You can fly them on any of the ground attack missions from Biggin Hill, East Church or Manston. The manual is useful, so read up! Also, there's a very useful tutorial on glide bombing/aiming for the mossy here.... this really does work if you use it!

I've added a special low level Mossy Recce mission from Biggin Hill, over Dieppe Harbor. Should be fun. The Mossy is great and the first twin engine AC in the game. Its a dual seat ship, so you can take a buddy along in the radio operator's seat. He can't do much but can operate some controls for you, manage the fuel, and run the radio, and spot stuff, and keep you from going nuts on long interdiction flights LOL ;-).

Some tips and quirks for flying it:
- The ground crew can't hear your requests with the windows closed, go figure! LOL, .... so you have to open the windows to issue commands using the menu commands to the ground crew (GC), like rearm-refuel, and prime the engines.
- The engines won't start unless you tell the GC to prime them with f8, f6 (run the starter). and they can't hear you ask that unless you open the windows... hint! ;-0
- Also, Bug Alert! - any external stores you add via menu GC rearm commands (like adding wing bombs) WILL NOT RELEASE under any circumstances. They have to be added with the mission editor (?!). Internal stores in the bomb-bay work, and rockets seem to work too, however. (this can be maddening, but trust me, its porked and a known issue - hope they fix this soon).
- Single engine safe flying speed is about 140mph. This is very touchy especially turning into a dead engine, so don't exceed this. Flat spin and death will result.
- Also, if damage is suspected, feather the prop, shut the engine and take a single engine approach. If you lose a damaged engine on finals at 1000ft and 120mph approach... you're dead! There is no time to recover from this, so don't chance it.

Happy flying the wooden wonder in 2022.
